As I mentioned. Strategic Transformation comes down to a sequence of embodied distinctions that all add up to a final result.

A distinction reveals the definition, impacts, parts, and practices of a thing in a way that enables, increases, or improves your ability to fulfill your intentions.

Strategic Transformation Distinction

Strategic Transformation – is to have a set of philosophies, strategies, tools, training, and tactics that, when repeated, will transform you into the type of person who can use your passion to harmoniously fulfill your financial, professional, and personal purposes—now and during the 30+ years of old age when you can no longer work.

Strategic Transformation: NEGATIVE Impacts

The reason why people are skeptical of individuals who pretend to be successful stems from a deeply ingrained human survival mechanism – their innate BS Meter.

Even if others cannot articulate it explicitly, they possess an intuitive sense to detect those who have not truly achieved success.

It becomes evident through the flaws or gaps in their stories, methods, and advice, which are either incomplete or based on false experiences.

It’s like someone trying to guide you on packing a backpack for an Everest climb with only book knowledge. You can instinctively perceive that they haven’t actually ventured into such perilous terrains.

Their stories lack the intricate details and the unforeseen twists and turns that arise only from real-life experiences. Their limited perspective prevents them from comprehending the unexpected consequences and unique opportunities that unfold along a journey of genuine exploration.

Existing mindsets and even conventional wisdom originated in an era when men worked in factories, operating as power-fueled machines.

Back then the factories’ primary objective was to extract a man’s power and convert it into a final product.

When we neglect to embrace growth and strategically transform themselves, they find themselves with no other choice but to operate within the limits of an outdated strategy.

This antiquated approach not only exhausts them but also subjects them to wear and tear, making them vulnerable to being replaced.

Strategic Transformation: POSITIVE Impacts

Existing mindsets and even conventional wisdom originated in an era when men worked in factories, operating as power-fueled machines.

Back then the factories’ primary objective was to extract a man’s power and convert it into a final product.

When we neglect to embrace growth and strategically transform themselves, they find themselves with no other choice but to operate within the limits of an outdated strategy.

This antiquated approach not only exhausts them but also subjects them to wear and tear, making them vulnerable to being replaced.

Now. With an understanding of the…

positive impacts we’re after producing and the negative impacts we’re committed to mitigating and eliminating we can begin to design with intention and that means we’re ready to start working with the “Parts and Practices” of a thing.

A way to think about Parts and Practices is like this:

We engage in practices that produce and care for the parts of a thing in a way that generates the desired positive impacts and mitigates and removes the negative impacts.

Impacts are the “Why”

Parts are the “What”

Practices are the “Who & How”

Now something you really want to remain aware of is that all day, every day, you are already working with the parts and practices of the elements of life that either create (Positive Impacts) or destroy (Negative Impacts) your ability to live a good life.

Most people go through their day detached from this. Their practices are not pointed at particular impacts, and if they are,

they’re not likely pointed at impacts that will lead to their ability to use their passions to harmoniously fulfill the financial, professional, and personal purposes they were created for.

I bring this up because it’s important for you to understand that this approach to life is NOT something more for you to do. It’s just a more effective way to do it.

Below, I am primarily identifying and…

…providing a high-level introduction to the fundamental parts of Strategic Transformation.

Since Strategic Transformation is technically an entire phase of our three-phase strategy, each “Part” will show back up as entire courses after this.

Over the next several months, we will cover in detail the impacts, parts, and practices of each of these fundamental components.

Together, they form Strategic Transformation.

For today, what’s important is that you understand and start to become familiar with the why, what, and how of Strategic Transformation.

Strategic Transformation: Parts and Practices

PURPOSE:

Purpose – is to know the 50+ parts of your professional, financial, and personal life that you were created to care for, as well as the positive and negative impacts each has on your ability to live a good and dignified life now and during the 30+ years of old age when you’ll no longer be able to work.

For strategic transformation to occur we need to know exactly what kind of person we need to become. To do that, we must understand precisely what we must be able to do.

Football players must be able to prevent and produce touchdowns

Marathoners must be able to run 26.2 miles,

Those who take themselves seriously—both in their own lives and in the lives of others;

must be able to use their passions to harmoniously fulfill the financial, professional, and personal purposes they were created for.

Transformation can only be strategic when it’s pointed at a purpose. Otherwise, it’s at best arbitrary and, at worst, destructive.

MASTERY:

Mastery is the ability to design, build, deploy, measure, and modify philosophies, strategies, tools, training, and tactics in a way that allows you to fulfill your intended outcomes.

Purpose tells us what kind of human we need to become, and mastery reveals the specific skills, strength, and effort we must develop to achieve it.

You can think of mastery as an obstacle course that has been customized to your particular self and situation to develop you into your ultimate self.

EXPERT at EXPERT:

Expert at Expert – To obtain the ability to design, build, deploy, measure, and modify the Strategic Operating Practices that produce and maintain the positive impacts of a purpose fulfilled, as well as eliminate and prevent the negative impacts of a purpose unfulfilled.

Purpose tells us what kind of human we need to become.

Mastery reveals the specific skills and strength we’ll need to become it.

Expert at Expert is the training we’ll need to develop the skills and strengths dictated by mastery.

THE ONLY EASY DAY WAS YESTERDAY

The Only Easy Day Was Yesterday is a way of being that increases our ability to fulfill and maintain the intentions of current strategies in a way that allows us to fulfill and maintain the intentions of new and more powerful strategies at a pace greater than the changes within our environment.    pt

The Only Easy Day Was Yesterday emphasizes that purpose and passion are not an endpoint but the result of a lifestyle of continual refinement.

PASSION

Up until this point, we’ve been identifying what kind of person we need to become,

the skills and strength that kind of person would have,

the customized training (study) they’d need to go through to develop them,

and the standard practices (lifestyle) they would hold to maintain and build upon all of that.

But true passion isn’t just about effort—it’s about being in flow. And to be in flow is to be fully aligned with your authentic self.

Everything that came before this was about “doing,” and here it’s about transitioning into being. Being the type of person who can use your passion to harmoniously fulfill the financial, professional, and personal purposes you were created for.

Strategic Writing

When we write, we expand our understanding in ways that produce new thinking—thinking that leads to more powerful distinctions, which allow us to better identify and fulfill the purposes for which we were created.

In the comment section below copy, paste and respond to the following:

1: If distinctions enable and increase your ability to fulfill your intentions, then what does an inability to harmoniously fulfill one’s professional, financial, and personal purposes reveal about the distinctions they’re currently working with?

2: Why is strategic transformation impossible without knowing all of your professional, financial, and personal purposes?
