How We Learn

In the previous course, “Why We Must Learn,” we discussed how the advent of personal computers has thrust us all into an extremely competitive, global marketplace,

making the continuous practice of learning a requirement for any serious professional.

Now that we’re clear on the why,

it’s time to dive into the how.

We’re Always Learning. That Might Not Be Good.

Since birth, learning has been occurring every moment of every day, regardless of our intention.

That’s either beautiful or disastrous, depending on your awareness and mastery of it.

You see, when we’re learning, we are either building new neural pathways or reinforcing old ones.

Those pathways dictate our beliefs, our interpretations, and our reactions to what happens around us.

Some of them have served us well, and some, well… not so much.

Whether you’re an intern or a CEO, you need to be the master of your own universe

by taking control of your beliefs, interpretations, and reactions.
